Happy news for travelers planning to visit Uttarakhand as the state govt has eased travel restrictions that were imposed and were applicable since March ’20.
Earlier the tourists were required to provide a COVID-19 negative report of not more than 96 hours old before they arrive in the state. Also, a mandatory 2 days of hotel booking was required to be shown while entering Uttarakhand. But now both of these will not be required during their visit to Uttarakhand.
The state government has now lifted these restrictions. On Tuesday, the government said that these restriction uplift will be applicable from Wednesday i.e. 24th September onwards.
The only requirement now will be to register for e-pass on the Smart City website. The visitors need to mention their mode of transport while registering for the e-pass.
